At The Rochey, our EOFY party venue in Fitzroy gives you room to mark the end of another year on the books. That could be casual after-work drinks by the fire or a full takeover with your own bar, dance floor and a menu that keeps everyone fed.

Take Over The Green Room
Upstairs at The Rochey, The Green Room is a fully private end-of-year party venue that takes up an entire floor.
Your team can come up through the pub or skip the main bar altogether via the private George Street entrance. Inside, two rooms overlook Johnston Street. You’ll have your own bar with four taps, cocktails and a full spirits range, plus a sound system, DJ equipment, a dance floor and a disco ball for later in the night.
There’s room for up to 120 guests cocktail-style, or 50 for a sit-down dinner. The offshoot lounges give people somewhere quieter to catch up away from the speakers. That’s handy when half the team wants to dance and the other half wants to talk about anything but work.
Screens and AV are built in, so the CEO’s speech, the year-in-review slideshow and the awards everyone pretends not to care about are all covered.
Food and EOFY Drinks Sorted
For a cocktail-style night, go for bites made to hold in one hand and heartier party food to keep everyone going. Want everyone at the table? Sit the team down to a set menu feast instead. Beer, wine, cocktail and spirits packages take care of the EOFY drinks.

Sometimes the best way to close the books is a few rounds and no agenda. The Bowie Bar suits up to 25 with its own fireplace and canapés on the go. For bigger crews, the Beer Garden fits up to 90 under a fully automatic roof, making it an easy cocktail party venue in Fitzroy to say yes to.

As early as you can. Late June is a busy time for work functions, and Friday nights tend to go first. Booking a few weeks ahead gives you the best choice of rooms and dates.

It depends on the space, the day of the week and your package. The Green Room carries a minimum spend and the Beer Garden has a reservation hire fee. Send through your date and headcount and our events team will come back with an exact figure.

Of course. The Green Room has a built-in sound system, screens and AV, so the speeches and slideshow are covered.

Easily. Flag any vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or other needs five days out and the kitchen will plan around them.

Yes. A deposit or room hire fee secures your date once your space and package are confirmed, and any remaining minimum spend is settled on the night.
